The Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (IPP) is one of the world's leading centers for fusion research. - The topic of the thesis is “Development of a process for the additive manufacturing of components for fusion devices”
- We are operating two large-scale experiments in Germany: At the IPP site in Garching we are conducting research on the experiment ASDEX Upgrade, this is a fusion plant of the tokamak type. And at the IPP site in Greifswald we are conducting research on the experiment Wendelstein 7-X, this fusion plant is the world's largest stellarator type.
- This master's thesis is in the field of neutral beam injection (NBI). NBI is one of the most important heating devices for heating fusion plasma to over 100 million Kelvin.

- Expertise is a plus, but an an engineering or computer science background and passion for fusion research are enough to get started.
